Around The House

With the weather lately being either blazing hot, or pouring down rain, we have been spending more time indoors. The girls are starting to play with their toys together, although there have been a few times when they wanted the same toy. Looks like we are getting to that stage.
Regardless of who has what toy, Raylee & Brinn are constantly coming up with new ways to entertain not only themselves, but US most of all. Enjoy!

Brinn is usually being her happy self.

However, she is not always happy. There are some tough moments, as well. That little lip! :(

We are still working on potty training. The hardest thing so far is Raylee realizing before she has to go, rather than after. She may not even realize it yet. Everytime I ask her if she has to go potty, she says "Yes!" Then we get in there and nada. She is an expert at washing her hands, and brushing her teeth.

There are daily struggles trying to make sure I've spent as much time as I can with the girls, while trying to keep the house clean(or not looking like a tornado came through), and a somewhat nutritious dinner on the table. 

  Mostly though, Raylee & Brinn are curious, outgoing, sweet, happy & healthy girls. They make everyday exciting, and I cannot wait to see what is next.

Brinn's 1st Steps

Brinn has been so close to walking. This morning I managed to catch her taking a few steps on my camera phone. Not the best quality, and ignore my voice, but I'm sure she will do it again. ;)

Memorial Day & the big 2-8!

Sorry about the lack of posts again. Life has been complicated, and it's hard to keep track of all my responsibilities at all times. This blog is what takes a back seat.

However, that does not mean I am not taking pictures constantly, and am trying to be consistent in documenting these days of our lives.

Anyways, I had a good birthday, and am ready for what this 28th year brings.

Hello June

June is here, and although it will be hot, it brings some fun things like my birthday, and Father's day. I also have some goals this month that include getting the girls passport applications completed. These pictures are mostly random from my camera.

Raylee has started smiling for the camera. Maybe she finally figured out that the picture taking stops faster if she does, or maybe she thinks that if she smiles then she will get to use the camera.

Raylee has finally figured out how to take pictures. This was one of the first that was in focus. Are you shocked I'm laying on the couch? :)

Although most of the pictures that Raylee took were some varition of the following.

Brinn finally cut 4 teeth on top at once. We are all relieved that she is not in as much pain, and is back to being a happy girl.
