Raylee is 2!

Sorry I haven't wrote about Raylee turning 2 earlier. We have had a lot of things going on around here. More on that later. For now, here are some pictures to remember the day that Raylee turned 2!

The night before Raylee's birthday her Aunt Manda came into town.

These girls were happy to see her, especially Raylee Roo.

The morning of Raylee's birthday, I woke up and decorated the living room, blew her up some balloons, and had her high chair decorated, with some breakfast ready. Here are some picture of 2 year old Raylee. Please don't mind the hair, she had just woken up.

\

Then we got ready for Raylee's 1st 2nd birthday party. Here she is ready for her party. Well, ALMOST ready. :)

Thanks to Aunt Manda for the cake, my MawMaw & PawPaw for letting us go to their house, and Granna & PawPaw for Raylee's fun gifts. She had a great time celebrating with everyone.

Checking it out.

Singing happy birthday!

Trying some icing. She loved the cake.

Up next is pictures of Raylee opening her presents. She is getting good at ripping and tearing.

4 generations, before we were ready for a picture.

4 generations, still not quite ready. :)

Feeding Aunt Manda some of her birthday cake. It is almost Amanda's Birthday too!

Finally, just to prove Brinn was at the party, here is a couple pictures of her cute self. She was happy the whole time, being held by her MawMaw & PawPaw Cauble.

Later that evening, Raylee had a party w/ Paul's family at our house. Raylee had her Grammie, Auntie April, Uncle Ken, Aunt Vicky, Cousin Adrianna & her daddy all there to help celebrate. They had cake & put on hats. Raylee & Adri had so much fun playing together. Love seeing those cousins bond. There are only a couple pictures of Raylee & Adrianna, because they play all over,  and it is hard to get a picture of them. However, there is a little video, after the pictures, to give you an idea.

Raylee had a great party, and now whenever you ask how old she is, she will say "Two!"

We love watching Raylee grow, and are looking forward to all the days that two has to hold.

Have a great Friday and weekend!

Pictures from some things lately...

These are just a few pictures of some things that have been going on around here lately. Paul & I figured out how to tame Raylee's wild curls. When her hair is dry, we spray it with a spray bottle full of water, until it is pretty damp. Then just comb through it with a comb, and let dry.

This next picture is Adrianna & Brinn hanging out on the couch. Adrianna is so sweet with her.

We finally took some family pictures last week. It was hard to get both girls to sit still & look at the camera, but I think they turned out pretty cute.  I am hoping to get those on my blog soon!

Finally, a couple pictures of Brinn in one of her favorite spots. The Walker. Raylee & Brinn can play with the tray full of toys together, and everyone is happy!

Hope you have a great day!

Hello 2012

Well the New Year is here. The best thing about 2011, for me, was the birth of Brinn. I may be a little biased about it, but she brings so much joy to our family. We are hoping that 2012 brings health & happiness to our family, and to yours. I'm starting off with the last few pictures of 2011.

Sweet sisters

Brinn has graduated to the walker. Bittersweet.

Lounging in her new chair from Grandpa & Grandma. Both of the girls like this chair.

More walker pics.

Granna & PawPaw watched the girls on New Year's Eve, so Paul & I decided to stay home, cook, and play games. It was so nice to get some uninterrupted sleep, and a good way to start of the New Year.

On New Year's Day we went to Pauls sister April's house for some yummy food & more presents. I forgot my camera, so these pictures are from my cell phone, but we had fun spending time with family.

When we got home, I had to try these little shoes on Brinn that her Grammie got her. Love those little leggies.

Hope everyones 2012 has started off well. Have a great day!

Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011 was great. It was awesome to have both our girls, and although Raylee did not quite get it, she sure did have a good time.

This is Raylee riding her Lil quad that Santa brought her. She is already a pro.

We went to my Aunt Susan & Uncle Kyle's house in Lake Charles. We had yummy gumbo & a fried turkey. It was my 1st time having fried turkey, and hopefully not the last. I didn't take many pictures, but I did get this one of my MawMaw & PawPaw spending some time with Brinn. She got lots of great stuff this Christmas as well.

The day after Christmas we made the drive to Kingwood to celebrate Christmas 2 more times. Here are the girls before we left.

You can see Raylee's new table & chairs, and singing tea set in the background. Both have been big hits.

This little cutie is my step-sister Amber's newest addition Jack. Jack was born Nov. 6, and Brinn & him are about 3 months apart.

This is Raylee giving her cousin Anna some love. They played so well together, and are already fast friends.

Trying to get a picture of all 4 grandchildren. This was the best I could get. :/

Then we made the 5 mile drive over to my Dad & Lenora's house for more celebrating.

We had such a good Christmas! We are looking forward to all 2012 has to bring.

Hope you had a good Christmas, and a great day!
