Fourth of July!

Hello everyone. Hope you had a great Fourth of July! We did over here. Now we're trying to get back into the swing of things for the week. The 4th marks exactly 1 month until my due date & we're getting so excited to meet the new addition to our family!

Here is a picture of Raylee from her 1st Fourth of July, last year:

& this is from yesterday; Fourth of July 2011

We went out to my Mom & Gary's house on the river. Paul took this neat picture with our camera.

Then there is a sandbar down below, which Raylee loves.

& a new floating dock, with a ladder that even this 9 months preggo girl could get up and down

We ate a yummy lunch w/ strawberry shortcake for dessert:

& of course we swam. It was SO hot outside, but there we're cool spots all through the river.

We had such a great time! Thanks to my Mom & Gary for everything!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

The Past Few Days....

I wanted to do a post before the 4th tomorrow. We have plans to go out to my Mom & Gary's house on the river, and to say I am excited is an understatement. They have been working hard on re-doing a lot of features, including a new floating dock and a sandbar. I am also looking forward to the food!!! lol

Raylee has been a busy girl lately. On Thursday we were missing Aunt Amanda, so I got out one of my favorite pictures, and Raylee carried it around ALL afternoon. We can't wait to see you next week Aunt Manda!!!

Raylee stayed the night with her Granna on Thurs. & Fri. night, so Paul and I decided to go pay some bills and go out to eat. On the way a metal piece of something flew out on the road and hit our windshield right where I was sitting. Thankfully it did not go through the windshield. I was sprayed with glass, but it could have been so much worse, and so glad Raylee was not even in the car.

Last night we made Pioneer Woman's Lasagna. It was the best lasagna I have ever had, and Paul & I had so much fun making it. There is a ton left in our fridge, but don't worry it will get eaten. This is not a good picture of it, but if you are looking for a lasagna recipe, I highly recommend it.

Then today we went and had Burger King for breakfast. Raylee loves some egg and hash browns and could be heard by everyone inside saying MMmmm! after almost every bite! :) Then we went to the park, and Raylee played on the slide.

& swung on the swing with Daddy...

Trying to get a smile...

Hope everyone has a great Independence Day!

Football Sunday

After getting to go see the Texans play and win last week. I was looking forward to watching the game at home with my family. We put some ribs in the slow cooker, and I made my yummy potato salad & mac-n-cheese.

The Cowboys' game was a disappointment, and it looked like the Texans were in for the same fate. They were behind 27-10 at one point, and I just had to stop watching. Paul has better nerves than I do, and I could hear him cheering so I decided to turn it back. The Texans were only down by 7, and then Andre Johnson got a TOUCHDOWN on 4th & 10 to tie the game! It went into overtime, and after icing the other teams kicker, the Texans were able to score a field goal to WIN the game 30-27. LOVE IT! It was so awesome, and was a great way to enjoy the day.

The Texans also had this little good luck charm cheering them on:

She got her 1st jersey last week, and even though it's  little big we decided to try it out!

Here is another one because I just couldn't resist!

Have a great week!
