What we miss...

We miss this face....

I miss seeing this sight.....

& this,

This was cool!

That was yummy. :)

Remember when this happened?

& then this...

All.Very.Cool.

This was just the span of a couple months. This isn't even CLOSE to the best part.! I am too blessed to be stressed. Even though clearly stress is a part of life. Ever since I had Brinn, my blood pressure has been high. Last week when I was sick, it was high enough for them to try some medication to regulate it. Since taking the medicine my symptoms have been noticeably less, although I have not been able to monitor my blood pressure. Next week I plan on going to my doctor in town to check my blood pressure, and get a refill of the medicine I'm currently on, if I need it. Please pray that we can get my blood pressure under control. Thank you.

Have a great weekend.

Texan's Playoff Game!

On Saturday, Paul & I were given the chance to go to the Texans vs. Bengals playoff game at Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX! (Thanks Dad & Lenora) We got a babysitter (Thanks Granna & PawPaw), and headed out that morning for some tailgating before the game at 3:30. Tailgating at Reliant is awesome. Food, music, food, drinks, more food! I know I tried 4 different kinds of sausage. Here are some pictures from tailgating.

Then we made the walk up to the stadium. Everyone was so excited, cheering the whole way. By the time all 71,725 people were inside with the roof closed, it was LOUD in the stadium.

The game did not disappoint. After getting off to a slow start, the Texans took the lead before the half on a J.J. Watt interception for a touchdown. The first rookie to ever do that in the playoffs!

I wish I had taken more pictures of the game but it was hard to capture it on a camera. If you watched the game you know. TEXANS WON! Headed to the next round!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Weekend Recap

This weekend was not too exciting. Paul had to work all day Saturday, and I had a headache all day, so the girls & I stayed in and kept warm. We are hoping that Paul's schedule slows down some, but are thankful for the work. Here is a picture I took of the girls hanging out. They really are sweet together. :)

Then on Sunday, Paul was home so we cooked a lot & got some stuff done around the house. We also watched the Texans clinch a playoff spot for the 1st time in franchise history by winning the game in the final seconds. To say we were excited would be an understatement. Both girls were taking naps, so we were quietly jumping up and down! I look horrible in this picture, but had to document how happy we were.

GO TEXANS!

Today I took Brinn to the Doctor for her 4 month check up. She did very well with her shots, and was done crying by the time we left the Dr.'s office. She was 13.1 lbs. & 24 in. long, which is the 50th% for both. So happy that she is doing so well. We love our Brinn girl!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Transitioning

Well we have started the process of packing. It is definitely a lot more work w/ two little girls to work around. Plus, we have accumulated A LOT of stuff living here, and it all needs to be organized to move. I am still just really grateful that we found a place, and I truly feel like this is where God wants us to be. Thank you to everyone who kept us in their prayers!

Raylee is getting out of control w/ the climbing. At this rate the only things that will be in her room will be her bed, and some toys. We walked in the other day to find this.

She also got some new boots that support her ankles, and a few days after this we found her sitting on top  of this dresser. I should have known when at not even 7 months, she was doing this:

Speaking of little cuties, check out this smile :)

We went out to lunch with Victoria & Adrianna, and it was nice to spend some time w/ the children we don't have to chase.

Then on Sunday we watched the Texans BEAT the Steelers. It was awesome.

Hope everyone has a great week!

19 Months & 6 Weeks

Today Brinn is 6 weeks old. She has started smiling, and it is awesome! I Love seeing her little personality shining through. This is a picture I took of her earlier today, when she was not fond of the light on my camera. Love that little face!

& Raylee is 19 months old. There is no hiding her personality. She is still so sweet, but man is she loud!
I took these pictures of her on Sunday in one of her (many) Texans outfits.

Got a smile!

Yes, she was being bribed w/ mini vanilla wafers.

TOUCHDOWN!

& she's gone...

Holding my phone, her favorite toy.

We enjoyed our weekend together, and we're happy that the Texans won! This week has been more stressful. We are waiting to find out about a house, Paul's cell phone stopped working, and Raylee & I both have doctors appointments this week. Prayers are appreciated that everything that is meant to be will.

Well, naptime is almost over, but I hope everyone is having a great day!

Trip to Houston!

We went to Houston this past weekend to visit with my Dad & Lenora & The GG's, who drove in from Abilene. It was so nice to spend some time with them, and on Sunday girl GG & Grandma Lenora watched both of the girls so Paul & I could go to the Texans game. If you saw the game then you know that the Texans demolished  the Colts. It was such a fun game, and I'm so thankful we got to go!

Paul & I at the game

This play resulted in a TOUCHDOWN!

We also got to spend some time w/ our family

It was a nice trip full of good food, family, and football. You cannot ask for much more than that.

To leave with, here is a picture of the girls in matching onesies. They say "Cute runs in the family."

Hope everyone has a great day!
