Birthday Weekend Fun

Sorry I haven't gotten around to posting yet this week. We are just now recovering from Pauls' Birthday Weekend. We ended up having SO much fun. On Friday, the day before his Birthday, Paul had taken my car to get gas. The gas gauge on my car has been broken for a while, so although he bought $10 worth of gas, my tank only held $7. He went back in, to get his change, but instead bought a $7 lottery ticket. Well that ticket was worth $500! Paul is the type of guy that will make sure he isn't given too much change, and will make sure that he doesn't take things he didn't get charged for, so it was very exciting for him to have that kind of luck. Congrats. to the birthday boy!

Ready to have some fun!

My Mom came and stayed overnight at our house (Thank You Mom!) so we could make the trip to go and watch Paul's stepbrother fight MMA. He won in the 2nd round, which was thrilling to watch!

The Octagon

We ate some good food, and got some good sleep, but we were still thrilled to get home to this little girl:

Who in the past couple days has started saying MAMA! I love it! When I can finally capture it on the camera I will post it, but it makes me so HAPPY to hear!

Growing & Changing

Raylee is growing, and getting bigger everyday! Yesterday she figured out how to pull herself up to standing!! I cannot believe she is already getting so big. Makes me a little sad.

                                                                Silly Little Goose

This past weekend was pretty eventful. We went and ate at one of our favorite restaurants. When we went to try and start the car, the batter was dead. Pauls' Dad came and jumped us so that we could make it to Auto Zone. A new battery and alternator later, the car is back up and running. Thank Goodness! On Sunday of course we watched football. Paul is now 4-0 in his fantasy football, so we're all excited about that!

Raylee's cousin Adrianna came over for a few minutes, while I attempted to get a picture of them. This was the best that I could do.

So that is what has been going on around here this week. I'll leave with one more picture of the cutie-pie. Hope everybodies week is going well!

Finally Friday

We are glad that it is finally Friday! Paul is working hard today so he will be off tomorrow, and we have some fun things planned. There is some good news around here. Raylee finally slept through the night in her OWN bed. We are taking steps in the right direction!

We were playing around the house and Raylee found her shadow:

This is the first smile I got Raylee to make when she KNEW I was taking her picture:

Finally,  I got some feedback that on the last video you couldn't see Raylees' face, and since she plays w/ that toy all the time I go another one:

Hope everyone has a Wonderful Weekend!

Littlest Cheerleader

Raylee got a new outfit in the mail from her Grandpa Tim, and this past Sunday we couldn't help but to put it on her. It must have worked, because the Texans WON, and played a great game!

                                                         Here is their littlest cheerleader:

Can you count the rolls?

GO TEXANS!

Raylee has been crawling everywhere, and she can entertain herself for a while with this thing:

Today is my PawPaws' 75th Birthday, so I wanted to make sure & say Happy Birthday PawPaw!

                                                                           We love you!

Hello October!

October is one of my favorite months of the year. I like crunchy leaves, sweatshirts, and bonfires. Also Paul's & my Mom's Birthdays are this month. I am looking forward to celebrating birthdays, a visit from my sister, and of course Halloween all this month. The weather is finally starting to cool down, which is a welcome break from summer. Hello Fall, welcome back!

Raylee is doing well. Trying to get anywhere and everywhere. I got some pictures of one attempt:

A few moments later:

Mission Accomplished. I have a feeling this won't be the last time.

Raylee has also been having fun with a toy that I got from my Auntie Susan. (Thank You!)  Here is a picture of Raylee eating singing into the microphone:

Finally, here is a video of Raylee playing with her toy. Hope you have a great weekend!
