St. Patrick's Day

We did not do much this St. Patrick's Day, because it was the day Paul left for North Dakota. I am happy to say he made it, although we are missing him already. I did put the girls in some green, and take some pictures. We went over to my MawMaw & PawPaw's house, and got to see Auntie Susan & Bryce, who brought Raylee her birthday present! She loves it, and has already played w/ a lot of her stuff. Thanks y'all!

Brinn's First Word

Brinn said her 1st word last night. That makes our girls 2 for 2 w/ their 1st word- Dada! I recorded this video of her saying it last night. It might be just me, but towards the end I can hear her say "Hi, Dada!." Lol

Hopefully "Mama" is not too far behind. I am working on a couple posts w/ pictures for this week, but for today here is Brinn saying her 1st word.

They love their wheels!

These girls love their wheels. Luckily, we have a big open kitchen/dining room that allows them to get their roll on. Here are some pictures of them riding together.

& here is a cute video of Brinn laughing, and grabbing for the camera. Then Raylee makes a cameo to show off her knowledge of some of her body parts.

Brinn 7 Months

A couple of days a go, Brinn turned 7 months. At 7 months, Brinn:

*can sit unassisted
*can roll both ways, (and keep going :)
*can side army crawl, but hasn't put the arms & legs together yet. Take your time baby girl!
*is having 4 4-6 oz. bottles a day, and rice cereal mixed w/ baby food 2X a day. Brinn also likes the "pinwheel" finger foods from Gerber. She will gnaw on those until they disappear.
*Sleeps from 8-8, with 2 1-2 hour naps. Lately it has seemed like Brinn has her morning nap, and gets up as Raylee is going down for her nap. Once Raylee wakes up, Brinn is headed down for her next nap. If Paul was not home, it would be tough to get anything done like this. Just another phase I'm sure!
*Loves Mickey Mouse. Brinn is not really interested in the TV, but when Mickey Mouse comes on she starts squealing w/ happiness.
*loves her sister. Brinn loves to watch Raylee, and try to grab her when she gets close. Now that Brinn can sit up, they spend time playing on the floor together.

There are many more things about Brinn at this time, but I wanted to write down some things that I might otherwise forget. Brinn is such a happy, content baby. She makes this Mommas job a breeze most of the time. I mean look at this smile.....

Wordless Wednesday

Raylee & Brinn

The past few days w/ Raylee & Brinn have been awesome. With Paul & I being gone for 4 days, that was the longest we had been away from either of them. There were worries that they would be upset, which would be normal, but that hasn't been the case. Thanks to some VERY good babysitters. *Thanks Grammie, Auntie April, Granna, & PawPaw for taking such good care of our girls. They have been their happy usual selves, and we could not be more happy to be back where we belong.

Now some pictures from since we have been home:

Raylee is growing up so much lately. Sometimes it feels like she is 2 going on 12......

Brinn is doing so well lately. She is rolling all over. In her walker, she will follow you around the kitchen, and can even avoid the rugs now. She has started eating so well lately, thanks to my mom, who figured out what kind of rice cereal she liked. Now when she sees food coming, she does a happy dance.

Finally, some pictures of Brinn eating in the big high chair for the 1st time. She had seen Raylee up there enough to know what to do, and it was eye opening seeing my little baby in that big chair.

Happy Birthday Aunt Amanda!

Today is Raylee & Brinn's Aunt Amanda's Birthday! The girls are so blessed that their Auntie makes it a priority to come visit, and be a part of their lives, so that now when they see her (or even her picture), they get Super excited!
