New Chair & Baby Things

Now that Raylee has learned to climb on the furniture, we have been wanting to get her a chair that is all her own. After much research, I decided that the best chairs are from Pottery Barn Kids, but the price is a little high. However, my Mom and I went in half on it, and we we're SO thrilled when it came in the mail this week. Raylee loves her new chair, but don't take it from me!

Cheesy smile! <3

Then this was today:
Can you tell some one is ready for a nap?

In other news we have decided on a name for Baby Girl # 2:

Brinn Danielle Barber

I have already been ordering some things for her, so everything she wears won't be hand me downs. There are letters on the way, and still a few more things I want to get. I got these in the mail last week.

The nursery is also coming along well. I got the bedding on clearance after much checking at Target, and free shipping, and am so excited about how it is coming along. Here is a picture of the bedding.

I am 30 weeks today, and feeling well. Now my Doctor's appointments will be every 2 weeks. We are looking forward to meeting our baby girl!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Visit to Abilene- Zoo!

While we were in Abilene, we were able to take Raylee to the zoo for her 1st time. It was a beautiful day, and although there were A LOT of people there, we managed to get a great parking spot, and have a wonderful time. :)

Visit to Abilene- Wedding!

This past weekend, we were finally able to make the trip to Abilene. Abilene is the town that I was born in, and where I went to, and graduated from college. Abilene Christian University. Although the drive is 8 hours both ways, it was worth it to get to see my family, and watch my cousin Nathan marry his beautiful bride Katie. I was so glad that we were able to, because this was Raylee's first time to see a lot of my family. She did well in the car, but we were all ready to be home!

Happy Friday & Nursery Before Pics.

Happy Friday everyone! We are excited about the weekend, as usual, and are looking forward to spending time together. We have a full week ahead of us next week with play dates, Dr's. appointments, and a trip to Abilene next week for my cousin's wedding. We will be laying low this weekend to get ready for all of that.

We are in full swing with working on the new nursery, and although there isn't much done yet, we are well on our way. Here are some before pictures to document the progress. It is a small room, but there is going to be a little person staying in there, so I think it will work out.

This is looking from the door. We already have new blinds, and a new curtain!

This is looking from the window. You can tell it's a small room, but I am excited about what we are going to do with it!

This is my Mother's Day gift. It is the dresser that my mom and her sister used, and that my sister and I used. We are re-doing it for Raylee and her sister! :)

The Before

The During

The (almost) after. We still need to put the clear coat on it, and there is a mirror that we are re-doing as well. Those pictures will come later.

I will leave with a few pictures of Raylee. She is getting so big, and so smart. This week she learned how to climb on ALL the furniture, so it has been a challenge to watch her, and make sure she can get down.

Can you just imagine the sound that goes with this picture?

Hope everyone has a great week!

Visit to Grandma & Grandpa's!

This past Thursday, Raylee & I made the trip to Kingwood to spend some time with my Dad & Lenora. They have had a lot going on, and it had been too long since we had got to spend some time with them. Raylee had a great time, and I think Grandma & Grandpa did too.
