Good News!

We found out yesterday that we got the place that we wanted. It is 3 bedroom/2 bath with a big covered porch, and a small fenced in yard, that will be perfect for the girls to play. It is only about 15 min. from where we are now, but the location is so much better. It is closer to my mom, and definately in our budget. I can not wait to get moved. Raylee is at her Granna's today, so I will leave w/ a picture of the other cutest girl in the world. Happy Friday! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Friday Randoms

We made it to the end of the week. We found out we did not get the house we were looking at, so we are still looking. The Dr.'s appointments went well for Raylee & I. I got glasses & contact lens prescription, and am working on getting some new lenses. As you can see, they are needed.

Raylee's #1 word for the past few weeks is "car." She says it at least 500 times a day! She always wants to go in the "caaar." Not nearly as easy when there is a newborn in the house.

Brinn is doing well, although she is not a fan of being cold. Most baths end like this. :(

She likes to be wrapped up tight like this:

Yesterday, Raylee went to the Dr. for her 18 month check up. At 19 months she is 29.5 lbs (95%) & 34 inches (100%). She got 2 shots, but was so tough, and was done crying by the time we left the Dr.s office. I think the necklace, and 3 kitty stickers helped. Here are some pictures from the waiting room.

& finally, here is a little video of Brinn just being cute. <3

Have a good weekend!

19 Months & 6 Weeks

Today Brinn is 6 weeks old. She has started smiling, and it is awesome! I Love seeing her little personality shining through. This is a picture I took of her earlier today, when she was not fond of the light on my camera. Love that little face!

& Raylee is 19 months old. There is no hiding her personality. She is still so sweet, but man is she loud!
I took these pictures of her on Sunday in one of her (many) Texans outfits.

Got a smile!

Yes, she was being bribed w/ mini vanilla wafers.

TOUCHDOWN!

& she's gone...

Holding my phone, her favorite toy.

We enjoyed our weekend together, and we're happy that the Texans won! This week has been more stressful. We are waiting to find out about a house, Paul's cell phone stopped working, and Raylee & I both have doctors appointments this week. Prayers are appreciated that everything that is meant to be will.

Well, naptime is almost over, but I hope everyone is having a great day!

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday everyone! We just found out that Paul does not have to work tomorrow, and he gets off today at 3! He was supposed to be working til 6 today and 3 tomorrow, so it was a great surprise. He could definitely use the time off. Raylee is also staying with her Granna & PawPaw tonight, and we will both get to pick her up tomorrow!

I do not have many pictures except for a few I took on my cell phone that I thought I would share.

Getting some snuggles from Brinn

This was my attempt to get a smile. She has just started smiling more, and trying to talk, with a few little sounds actually coming out. It really is the cutest thing.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Bounce Zone

Yesterday, the girls and I met my sister-in-law Victoria, and her daughter Adrianna at Bounce Zone in Beaumont. Raylee had never been before, and I was a little concerned if she would be ready for it or not. She does spend most of her days climbing all over the furniture. I didn't need to be worried. She loved  it! It was surreal to watch my little Raylee Roo climbing up a big set of stairs by herself, and then sliding down by herself. It does not seem like it should be possible, at only 18 months, but she did  it as you will see below.

First, some pictures of Raylee & her cousin. Of course I couldn't get them both looking at the same time, so use your imagination. :)

Here is the video of Raylee going down the slide. That is her cousin Adrianna in the video with her.

 Enjoy!

After Bounce Zone, we went across the street to Chick-fil-a for some lunch. Everyone enjoyed it, and it was a great play date. We can not wait to do it again!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Trip to Houston!

We went to Houston this past weekend to visit with my Dad & Lenora & The GG's, who drove in from Abilene. It was so nice to spend some time with them, and on Sunday girl GG & Grandma Lenora watched both of the girls so Paul & I could go to the Texans game. If you saw the game then you know that the Texans demolished  the Colts. It was such a fun game, and I'm so thankful we got to go!

Paul & I at the game

This play resulted in a TOUCHDOWN!

We also got to spend some time w/ our family

It was a nice trip full of good food, family, and football. You cannot ask for much more than that.

To leave with, here is a picture of the girls in matching onesies. They say "Cute runs in the family."

Hope everyone has a great day!

1 Month

Today my sweet little bitty, teeny tiny Brinn is a month old! It is bittersweet. I love watching her grow, but I also want her to stay my little baby for as long as possible.

At 1 month, Brinn is a great baby. She wakes up happy, and is content to look around and just take everything in. She is a great sleeper, a good eater, and she loves her paci!

Here is Brinn's 1 month picture:

I love you Brinn Danielle! Thank you for bringing me more joy, than I even thought was possible.

We have some exciting things planned for this weekend. Tomorrow we are making the trip to Houston to see the girls Grandpa & Grandma, and their GG's! (GreatGrandparents) It will be Brinn's first time getting to meet them. We are staying overnight, and then Paul & I are going to the Texans season opener against the Colts. We are so excited. GO TEXANS!

Labor Day Weekend Recap

Hello everyone! We really enjoyed our 3 day weekend! Especially because Paul was off all 3 days, and we were able to spend lots of time together. He has been working on Saturdays so 3 days off was really nice. The weather was rainy all day Sat. & Sun. as tropical storm "Lee" cam through, but it brought cooler weather(finally!), so we are not complaining.

I took some pictures of Brinn on her changing table the other day. I want to remember her this little forever, and she was such a good little subject just laying there getting her picture taken. Of course, she did pee on it when we were done, but the pictures were worth it. :)

Raylee stayed with my Mom for a few days last week, and when we went to pick her up she was happy to see all of us. Mostly her Daddy, but also "little sister."

As I said it was raining, but Raylee wanted out of the house so we let her go play on the porch for a while.

We did a lot of sleeping. As much as possible. Just looking at this picture makes me sleepy.

I also wanted to put on here a picture of my beautiful diaper bag. Thank you Daddy & Lenora! I did SO much research on the perfect bag, (for me), and L-O-V-E the on I got. It is a Skip Hop Studio in Pewter, and  just to carry it makes me happy!!

Raylee's hair is finally long enough to put in pigtails, and it makes her look like a big girl. :( They are so cute, but of course it was almost impossible to get a picture of her. Here is an idea of what they look like.

Hope everyone has a great day, and check back tomorrow for Wordless Wednesday!
